AMS 2023 Updates

Originally we had planned on having 15-minute time slots for regular oral presentations lasting about 12 minutes (plus ~3 minutes for questions, etc.), but determined there is enough time in the schedule to permit slightly longer talks. Regular oral presentations can now be up to 15 minutes long plus 5 minutes to provide time for you to walk to the podium, be introduced by moderator, open the presentation file, and answer questions at the end of your presentation. The keynote presentation will still be one hour and presentations in the president's symposium will still be 30 minutes.

The discounted rate at Hotel Capstone has been extended to August 6th for folks who need to stay an extra night after the field trip or HaptoNet workshop. The hotel's page for AMS will be updated shortly or you can call the hotel to make/change your reservation.

The deadline to register and submit abstracts for the 89th American Malacological Society meeting has been extended by one week to June 30th.

Registration for AMS 2023 is now open! The deadline for early-bird registration is 30 April. The deadline for submission of abstracts and last day to register for the meeting is 23 June 30 June.
