Oral presentations

Updated on 6/28: Regular oral presentations are scheduled as 15-minute presentations plus 5 minutes to provide time for you to walk to the podium, be introduced by moderator, open the presentation file, and answer questions at the end of your presentation. Please plan your actual presentation to be completed in 15 minutes to allow time for questions. Originally we had planned on having 15-minute time slots for oral presentations lasting about 12 minutes (plus ~3 minutes for questions, etc.), but determined there is enough time in the schedule to permit slightly longer talks. The keynote presentation will be one hour and presentations in the president's symposium will be 30 minutes. Time limits will be strictly enforced.

Only in-person talks will be presented but talks will be live-streamed via Zoom for remote participants.

Posters

Posters should be in landscape orientation and no larger than 48" X 36". Please contact Kevin Kocot (kmkocot@ua.edu) if you prefer to present a portrait orientation poster.
